When you order through CraftWeb Ordering, the restaurant you order from receives your order and is responsible for it. CraftWeb Ordering is run by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], [COMPANY ADDRESS] (“CraftWeb”), which provides the ordering service to the restaurant.

• Your name, phone number and email address.
• For delivery, the address you give us and any delivery instructions.
• What you ordered, any notes you added, when, and the amounts charged or refunded.
• Whether you asked for order updates on WhatsApp, the updates we sent, and the WhatsApp messages you send back, with your WhatsApp profile name and whether our messages were delivered and read. Updates come from the restaurant's own WhatsApp number when it has connected one, otherwise from CraftWeb's. If the restaurant has connected its number, we also keep the WhatsApp messages it sends you from its WhatsApp Business app.
• Your card is handled by Stripe. We keep only the card brand and its last four digits, never the full number.

To take and prepare your order, take payment, send your receipt and updates, let the restaurant reach you about the order, prevent fraud, and keep the records restaurants must keep for tax. Orders you place with the same phone number or email are linked, so the restaurant can see your earlier orders.

The restaurant you order from. And the companies that run parts of the service for us: Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Meta (WhatsApp messages, if you opt in), Google (checking delivery addresses) and Amazon Web Services (hosting). We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

This ordering site sets one cookie of its own, which remembers your cart at each restaurant. When you pay, Stripe sets its own cookies to help prevent fraud. We run no analytics or advertising here. A restaurant's own website may use its own cookies and will ask you about them.

Orders are kept for as long as tax law requires restaurants to keep them, [RETENTION PERIOD — CONFIRM]. If you ask us to erase your details sooner, the orders stay but without your name, phone, email, street address or notes.

Email hello@craftweb.ai with the restaurant's name and the email or phone you ordered with. We'll send you a copy of what we hold, or erase it, once we've checked the request is yours.
